Gigwise and Liverpool SoundCity’s A&R team will choose the winner who will then be placed on a suitable bill at the festival.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

• Entry into the competition is deemed as agreement to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the competition.
• All other decisions are at the judges' discretion.
• Competition prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
• Metropolis prize must be taken within 6 months of the date of the Competition (unless agreed with Metropolis) or will be deemed invalid.
• Any transport, accommodation, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses upgrades etc.) as the case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
• The winning band cannot feature more than 6 members (no orchestras)
• Deadline to enter competition: Friday 15th May

A unique offering for unsigned bands, Mastering Unsigned, has also recently launched, ensuring Metropolis is able to provide for all budgets, from start-ups to established bands.

The competition prize on offer from Metropolis for the winner of SoundCity Unsigned is a ‘professional demo’ – one day recording, tracks mastered with iMixing and mastered with Mastering Unsigned.
