Great Guitar, both acoustically and using the on board electrics set up where a range of tones are available. It feels good to play both sound wise also comfort of playing as well as playability. I use it for jazz, blues and c&w taking the styles to new territory.
The overall finish and quality of the guitar is very impressive. The cutway allows access to the higher range. The built in tuner is also an added benefit both convenintly placed and tuning accuracy.
I mostly use jazz Archtops and I find the EJ-200 a good substitute for a relaxing style. Being lighter in weight but acoustically the tone still provides that deep bass as well as the treble brightness. Ideal for comping using walking base lines.
It is much admired by all who hear and see it. I expect to keep it within my collection certainly for my lifetime and beyond.
Seek it out and try it with different picks. You will be pleased, I am.
