I'd heard a lot of good reports about this amp and so I expected quite a lot from it, but not too much considering the price.

After 3 weeks of only being able to play it at home, at low volume, I was quite pleased with it -but nothing special. The clean channel was pretty good but the overdrive channel was a bit fizzy.

Then the moment I'd been wating for - my band was back in the rehearsal room and so I was able to crank it up a bit. Was I just a bit disappointed? Was I heck! This amp is simply astounding. It sounds fantastic, not just for the money but compared to just about any other amp out there. The clean sound is superb and the overdrive channel sounds like a quality valve amp - and there are no valves anywhere to be seen. The fizz that's very evident at low volume simply disappears when you crank it up.

So all in all a quality amp at a ridiculous low price, and much louder than I expected too. Only shame is it doesn't have an external speaker socket. Anyway I'll be using it for small gigs.

An excellent tool for any gigging musician or anyone who uses a rack. The installation and operation are easy. For the money, it would be difficult to find another product to compare.
