I've just bought a pair of these for our local church. I pulled them out to check them through and here are my initial comments.

The stands are fairly light and appear to be well-constructed. The knobs for tightening the stand in position are chunky enough for comfortable use. The locking pin feels up to the task if the collar slips.

There are two downsides to these stands. The first is that the rubber feet came off when I was removing it from the packaging. The stands these are replacing suffered the same fate and damaged wooden floors. I will have to get some Araldite to ensure they never come loose. The second fault is that there is no way of securing the locking pin at the other end. I would like to have the assurance that the pin only comes out when I wish it to. This is perhaps a further modification I will have to make.

These faults can be sorted by the individual and so I would probably buy them again. Since they appear to be the best value ones out.
