A veritable racecar of a bass, the Jazz Bass was born in the 1960s and became the favorite of players who put as many miles on the instrument as they did on their tour buses.
The more it was used (and abused), the more it growled back and became even more comfortable. Fender's new Road Worn '60s Jazz Bass guitar delivers that aged look and feel—designed with 1960s specs, including a nitrocellulose-lacquer finish, and built to look, sound and feel like it's got more than just a few miles on it.

I\'d been told that these basses have a high and even quality but this is not the case with mine.
When I got it the neck was bent like a banana. Also, the neck angle seems to be really wrong. The strings are too high even with the bridge adjusted to the lowest setting. The truss rod can only be adjusted with the neck removed completely. Furthermore, the truss rod does not work as good as you would expect on a quality instrument.
This is the worst Fender I\'ve seen.
Disappointed!
Damon Chivers from fender will be in store Tuesday 14th July to demo the road worn guitars and Vintage modified amps.
30th year sees increased numbers and positive feedback from the MI sector
This exciting new range from Fender has finally arrived at Dolphin, with most models available now and the Road Worn basses and a couple of guitars due to arrive soon.
Jim Root has the lucky distinction of being part of the two most important hard rock bands to ever come out of the Midwest, Stone Sour and Slipknot. Both bands do much to showcase not only his masterful playing but also his ethereal side, which you don’t hear so much as feel.
