Our drummer had been having monitoring issues at a number of our recent shows. In particular venues with knackered monitor systems and less than enthusiastic engineers. As a result we decided to but a basic in ear monitoring system of which the ART MyMONITOR forms the backbone. The ART MyMONITOR is simple to set up and works well in all live performance environments. With a simple monitor feed from the front of house desk our drummer is now able to control his own levels without having to deal with the engineer. This allows complete flexibility and gives noticeable results. The ART MyMONITOR is small, easy to use and incredibly good value. The ART MyMONITOR was recommended to us by a professional engineer who used it on a Robert Plant tour in 2007. With that sort of endorsement you can't go wrong. Now all we have to do is team the ART MyMONITOR up with a nice pair of in ear monitors...

Trying to play mandolin on stage with a band, I often wish I could hear myself, especially when improvising. I've just bought on of these Art "My Monitor" personal headphone monitors, and although it takes a bit of extra setting up, I can now hear exactly what I'm playing without affecting anyone else's mix. And if necessary I can monitor the main mix at the same time! Brilliant! No more frantic signals to sound engineers to "turn me up". Obviously not as good as professional in-ear monitoring, but at the price it does the trick!
