Before I start, excellent service by Dolphin, delivered promptly on Monday (ordered Friday) and packaged well. Also the cheapest retailer for this pedal (as of August 09).
The pedal! Construction wise - as you would expect from EHX, the pots are all smooth and responsive, the switches are solid and reliable, and also the casing seems as though it could take a beating. Durable!
This pedal can give a variety of sounds with the modulation and reverb settings on the some of the modes, all sound ace to my ear (although I am no audiophile). Where the consensus seems to be that it is hard to use at first, I would have to disagree - while aimlessly turning the knobs wont get you a usable sound like some other pedals, it is quite easy to tailor the sound you want, and the mode list on the front also helps with this.
One of the main reasons I bought this was for the looper, and safe to say it doesn\'t disappoint. While essentially no frills, unlimited overdubs and over 20 seconds recording time are just what I was looking for, and it is also very easy to use. You have to hold in the switch while recording though, which may be unusual for some people.
Overall, this pedal is brilliant, great sounding and relatively easy to use. However, I wouldn\'t expect too much use of it onstage though - trying to change settings in a live situation I can imagine might be a problem, although the looper would be a handy tool to have.
pedal not really for gigging, sound experimentation studio shit

I bought this pedal a couple of months ago and I absolutely love the sound. It was a blind (or maybe better to say deaf buy) since I only heard demos of it online. When I got it I was blown away by the quality of the effect. I got everything I expected and it was worth every single penny. There are a lot of options and none of those has let me down. It is so much fun to put a recorded part through it and then play with endless possibilities, but it is as fun as a foot pedal, too. Great sound, hard casing, comes with a power supply, both stereo input and output, and very nice price for the effects you get. The only, and a very small, problem is it is a bit complicated and it needs a bit of getting used to operate it in its full glory. Very versatile and high quality pedal!

First of all I would like to congratulate Dolphin on getting this pedal next day delivery .. fantastic.
First the negative;
This pedal is difficult to get to grips with initially. It will take a bit of work but it is worth it. Luckily it comes with a decent manual I would strongly suggest sitting down and reading it whilst you tweak.
Now the positive;
The delay sounds from this box are fantastic. You can get pretty much any delay sound you could need, including a loop recorder.
Reverbs, filter delays and a really cool reverse delay are all present here. It is also fun to reverse your loops or slow them down to create some interesting effects.
I have also fed tracks from Logic into the pedal and recorded the output to create soundscapes, the stereo ins and outs really help with this. You can also get Ping-pong type effects by using the stereo output and a mono input.
The pedal is robust, I think I could throw it at the drummer without it breaking, always handy.
In summary, this is the best delay pedal I have used, you may read that there are signal level problems (ie a decrease) on other sites but I have encountered none of these problems.
Enjoy!
