In 1954, we introduced the F-30 Aragon, the smallest of the original flat-top guitars. Initial models featured a unique body shape with a spruce top and arched maple back and sides. By 1959, the F-30 Aragon had a mahogany back and sides. During the late ’50s and early ’60s, it had become the guitar of the folk explosion, and to this day its compact body produces a bright, full sound perfect for the patio, campfire and coffee shop.
Our new orchestra-body model is based on the 1956 F-30 Aragon, with all solid woods, a red spruce top and bracing, mahogany back and sides, Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, bone bridge pins, tortoise binding, 1 11/16” nut and lacquer finish. Available in Natural, Antique Burst and Ice Tea Burst (shown).
