Washburn X50 PRO QCRB Reviews

Washburn X50 PRO QCRB

Rating: 9/10

I wish I had something clever and technical to say but I don\'t. The guys in the other reviews did that. You know when something looks and feels right?...That\'s the x50 pro. The finish is superb, the quality of hardware is top notch...(Grover, seymour duncans, coil taps) Sustain of a strung thro\' tele, thin strat sounds on pull of a button. Plenty of output to drive that amp when you want it and simple \"one volume one tone\" controls. If you want to play and not fiddle with controls, this is for you. If you want a guitar that plays straight from the box without expensive mods, this is for you. If you want quality under £500.00 this is probably the only one for you, and guess what.....Washburn chuck in a quality gig bag too.......not mentioned in the description. The only fault I could find was a little rust on the strings and Dolphin replaced those F.O.C. I shall sleep with little baby...nite nite..

  • BBC To Screen Three-Part Series "The Story Of The Guitar"

How did the guitar become the world's favourite instrument? Alan Yentob begins this personal journey, fascinated by both the sound of the Oud, an ancient middle-eastern ancestor of the lute, and the iconic guitar draped round the necks of Bill Hailey and Elvis Presley, which rocked the cosy world of popular music in the 50s. Starts Sunday 5th October.
