Im writing this review in the hope someone can help figure where im going wrong so far, Using the unit out of the box with winamp is great(although winamp only sees 1 pair of them outputs) no problems very quiet, this was the main reason i bough the maya, pc audio is very noisey imho.
Although the unit comes with a driver cd, which i initialy used, i downloaded the latest drivers to try and solve the following problem. The unit requires a usb driver which is easily installed, there is also a utility which gives you access to the maya control panel, for level output record level monitoring etc, probably for when you are using cubase or similar, my problem is this,

my laptop sees the unit no problem, allows me to tweak input and output levels, pluged in to my tower(main pc) the unit emits sound ok but the maya control panel does not kick in, i get a msg saying the unit is not connected to the pc.....

i think this will be a great tool when i figure out the problem, both pcs are running xp, usb 2 is enhanced etc etc,

what can i say about dolphin, the unit arrived withing a day or so of ordering.
