My little girl wanted to learn to play the guitar so I looked at what there was on offer and asked a lot of questions as to what would be favourable for a 7 year old that has never played any instruments before. General opinion was an electric guitar not an acoustic as I had envisaged, mainly because they can get more sounds out of the electric so it helps to keep them interested.

When the guitar arrived (next day delivery, thank you Dolphin), I was amazed at the quality and finish of this little gem, truly well put together and the attention to detail very evident. It is very easy to tune, I got a Q12E chromatic tuner, which not being musical myself is a big plus.
When my little girl arrived home and saw it she simply lit up. The strap was thrown over her shoulder and she was twangin away like a proper rocker. She now has a Fender 15G amp and the Fender "Getting started on electric guitar with Keith Wyatt" DVD, which is fantastic for beginners.
