Got a session or a live gig and need to bring your PODxt Live? Well, now you can throw away the box that it came in and give your PODxt Live the protection it deserves (it would do the same for you). This custom-tailored deluxe carry bag features a heavily padded, zippered compartment for your new favorite piece of…
I bought one of these some 2 years ago. The quality of the bag material is superb and essential for the safekeeping of the POD.
However, the quality of the zip fasteners leaves a lot to be desired.
The tags (zip pulls) are made of what appears to be a shiny stainless metal (no fault there) but the fastener they are attached to is of a brittle die-cast compound . The retaining arm for the tags is open ended and the tags fall off...
Worse, repeated replacement of the tags stresses the brittle attachment arm and (you guessed it) the arm breaks off.
If you play a fingerpicking style the prospect of fighting a stiff, tagless zip using your fingernails just before a gig is not one to be relished...
Pity, a first rate bag is let down by a third rate zip. Considering the price, the manufacturers should have done better..

I have been using amplifiers since I was 14 years old, I am now nearly 60 and still performing. Over those years I have had almost every amp there is (mostly leaning towards valve amps).
I have a Line 6 Pod Live and I am blown away with it (all you could want in one unit).
I recently tried a friends Line 6 Spider IV with it's FBV Shortboard MKII floor controller and it blew my socks off. No way did I believe it was not all valve. This has to be the best and most versatile amplifier I have ever used, it replicated every amp and effects units I have used over many years in seconds covering any genre of music I have played (if guitarists had had this setup many years ago music would have found many additional directions, this amp alone would have inspired a whole new level of music and musicians and all from the modeling of a hand full of technicians producing nothing short of perfection at Line 6.
Back in the day this amplifier setup would have only been in the hands of a chosen few wealthy musicians. The cost of this setup is rediculous for what you get and I am convinced that this one peice of magic will inspire many many more great musicians for the future of live and recorded music.
It now Friday evening and I will aquire my own Line 6 Spider IV 150 and FBV Shortboard MkII early on Monday.
Keep it live.

In addition, a comprehensive array of inputs and outputs provide seamless integration into professional recording and performance rigs. Like all members of the POD® X3 family, POD X3 Pro offers powerful Dual Tone modeling…
I purchased the X3 because basically I was sold by it's "all-in-one studio pre-amp/FX" description listed on the Line 6 website.
I have a home studio and the fact that I could throw vocals through it, hook my acoustic up, play with a smorgasbord of guitar FX, run two of these at once AND have full stereo outputs configured for studio use, really perked my interest. So, took the risk, made the purchase and haven't looked back!
The first thing that got me was the quality and sheer diversity of sounds in this beast. Spent hours with just my guitar, getting to grips with the amps and FX (it's what Line 6 do!), but to be honest I'm still doing that 8 months later. There's that many. When you finally get some idea of what sounds you can get, you can then double them up with the dual tone feature which can generate some unbelievable sounds. Imagine a perfect blend of a loud clean Fender amp sitting with the crunch of a cranked up Marshall. Takes me to special places...
When I finally started recording with it, I must admit it took me some time to set it up just how I like it but that was to be expected given the versatility of the thing. I settled on using the digital stereo out to my multitracker, I also use the line in to receive aux signals from my multitracker, so I can apply FX like reverb in real time as I'm mixing down. Something which the X3 does brilliantly.
I intially thought I'd use only the preamps for vox, adding FX later, but the quality of FX in the X3 means I don't have to bother. I can add FX while recording and use the unprocessed outputs to listen to the unprocessed voice, then when I've done, I have a vox track with full FX, compression and EQ, in one take! (well nearly one, I'm still practicing!).
Since getting the X3 I have pushed aside all other equipment in my stuido, tube preamp, pedalboard (30 pedals), 2 amps (Laney VC15 & Fender Twin Reverb), ALL have been made redundant by the X3.
As a little footnote, I've also stopped jamming as much with my amp and existing pedals, the X3 is so easy to set up customised racks and then save/tweak them, it's making my pedals obsolete (at least in the studio).
I bought the X3 for a specific purpose and it has filled that purpose and given so much much more!
If you have a studio and you want a load of FX, quality pre-amp models for guitars/vocals and bass, plus versatility in various setups, software and hardware based, you couldn't get much better than this in my humble opinion.

i love it .. the sounds u get a brilliant there is so many different effects but u have 2 spend a while tweaking all the different tones to get a nice effect the dual tone is brilliant .. and u can download tones off the line 6 websight for songs that people have made or ones that line 6 made themselves i have a line 6 spider III and use that as a speaker now and it sounds brilliant...
The only down side is the stop boxes are very small and can be annoying to press and could break quite easily but as long as u are carefull they will be fine
overall Great unit i love it

Excellent piece of gear.
I have had Marshalls for years, but I was finally sold onto modelling kit such as the POD X3 Live when I began to see more and more bands using similar sorts of hardware with no discernable loss of sound quality.
I got the pedal and was not disappointed at all, the Marshall was sold the following week.
There are so many sounds on here and effects it will blow your socks off with the choice. Ok for a purest like myself I can tell the difference between a Modelled Marshall and the real thing but I ask you how many punters can? This thing is pretty damn close.
For practice I put this through my cheap solid state fender on clean all the dials on 5 so that that the sound is not coloured, for a live set up its straight into the PA.
After reading the manual I found the unit easy to use, however you need to spend hours and hours of your time working out what sounds you want - don't expect instant results and you will be fne. I found the stock sounds to be a good reference point though. You do need to keep the manual handy for more complex set ups.
I had to go through a massive leap of faith letting go of the Marshall, but it was well worth it. I got loads of sounds, a quicker setup at gigs and a lighter load.

I bought this because I wanted something small that I could just 'plug-n-play'. I did have a Vox amplug on my list but decided on this because of the masses of tones available, I was not disappointed! This thing rocks. It sounds so much better than most small practice amps I have herd. Plus if you have a descent pair of earphones you can really rockout in the middle of the night and know one will know!! Also, this pod works a treat if you are recording your self using your laptop/pc. I only give it 9 stars because or two things;
1) It has no battery warning light so when your batteries fail it sends a nice load 'crack' into your earphones as it dies.
2) There is no 9V mains charger included. Although generic multi voltage chargers are available all over the place.
Best £70 I have spent in a long time.

Has some great sounds for a very good price. The tuner is useful and works well. The manual is a bit basic and even the reference manual doesn't list the built in presets. Also, the sounds you can download from the Line 6 web site contain loads of duplicates and a lot of rubbish.
However, if you spend the time to experiment with the settings, maybe using one of the presets as a starting point, it gives some great sounds for an amazing price.
Pocket POD Express delivers essential guitar tones without the need for an amplifier. I am new to the guitar and at first just had a basic amp. It sounded pretty good but was not very portable. I chose this product because it I wanted something that would allow me to play the guitar anywhere. The pocket pod line looked like the answer. I chose this one because it looked simple to use and with no backlight I thought it would have good battery life.
It is easy to use and it sounds great. You can fiddle with the dials while playing to get the sound just right. The battery life is very good too, I have managed about 20hrs with the supplied batteries. With an additional guitar lead I can put it between my guitar and amp making my amp sound a whole load better as well.
The built in tuner is the only down side as it is tricky to use but I already have a tuner so this wasn't a problem for me.
I did consider the pocket pod because it was loaded with more features for a little more money but I am new to the guitar and didn't want anything too complicated and this unit looked smaller.
A great product for the guitar on the go, small but brilliant. Can be used with headphones or to improve a basic amp. Highly recommended.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I have had it plugged in every time I play. Its such a simple thing to use and really works well. Theres no chance of coming up with something good and forgetting it ever again. For the price you really cant complain. Have found I can pretty much plug anything else into it too (bass, keyboard) and the quality is still the same. I have even used it to jam along with after recording some riffs. For the price it really is a cool gadget!
The first ever line of bass amps from Line 6, LowDown™ delivers an incredible array of dialed-in, stage-perfected bass tones. Used this beast to try out £600 bass in my local shop... Just wow!
The sound out of this just on clean is big! I thought i was going to break the glass on the glass cabinate containing the £1000's of pounds guitars. It was floor shaking, and bass heaven, I currently will not be able to afford one of these beauts, maybe when i leave uni, (in like 4 years)... If i had the money i would buy it, or even the 175w version.
This amp will never phart of cough when playing, even in a downtuned Low-B string, in like A, or mudvayne style G, the 15" speaker was the best decision Line 6 ever made.
GOT THE MONEY?? look up a bit for a big red button with white writing saying "Buy Now", find it and click... you will not regret it!

As always with Dolphin, delivery was fast and realiable, and the information provided about the Pod on the website was extremely accurate, so I'll try not to repeat it all here!
Already being an owner of a Line 6 Variax guitar, it of course made sense to combine with a Pod, and the sounds this one can produce are incredible; from the subtle and understated tweaking effects, to full-on synth, heavy distortion and so on. The user menus are fairly intuitive, although at least skimming through the "Pilot's Handbook" once or twice would be recommended.
As I mostly use a fairly low-power, low-spec Marshall amp, I was slightly dubious to how the Pod would sound through it - these doubts were instantly put to rest as the outputs options of the pedalboard easily compensated; through a portable PA system it sounds amazing, and the possibilities when combined with a Digital Audio Workstation are almost infinite.
Overall, the kit is very good in all aspects, and both beginner and professional musician aquaintances have been extremely impressed with it.
ToneCore Verbzilla delivers amazing reverb models with loads of control. The Line 6 ToneCore Verbzilla reverb effect pedal creates luscious, studio-grade algorithms- from classic guitar amp-style spring reverb to dreamy, high-end studio favorites. Tone, Mix, Decay, and Time controls help you find the exact effect you want, and the Trails on/off switch allows the ToneCore reverb to decay or…
Musical, versatile and rugged. Works well both for "everday" reverb and for over-the-top effects.
The different reverb models are distinct and useful while the parameter knobs give plenty of tonal control. Spring sims are, well, springy. Plate is warm and intimate. Cave is nicely distant and gloopy. Octo feels less like a style reverb than an original sound shaping effect in its own right.
The ducking model and trails switch are thoughtful features that suggest that the designers have listened well to performing musicians. Another nice ergonomic touch; the LED flashes red when the battery is close to flat.

The Line 6 Pod 2.0 is brilliant!
I don't have a lot of experience of Amp's and Effect's but using the Pod 2.0 gives so much variation in tones!
The only problem's I have with the Pod is the lack of Noise Gate control, Volume Swell only being available with delay and how difficult it is to remember where everything is.
The secondary Amp's and Cabinet's are a little difficult to remeber and find, also remembering the effect of the tone nob's on different Amp's.
It would also help if the Pod was compatible with USB cables instead of only Midi, it would make thing's MUCH easier!
Even with the little problems that can become major irritations if you want certain controls, the Pod is brilliant for almost everything else, if Wah was included it would be even better.
The effect's are really easy to use in the basic forms, only changing the little thing's such as Delay Feedback and, Reverb Decay can be hard to do with any certainty.
This is a brilliant bit of kit, if you need a variation of Amp's and effect's then buy this NOW!

Excellent for the money and loads of fun, takes a little while to sort out but a must buy for home electric playing. Forget a small practice amp, this and a pair of headphones means you can sound great, record and not drive family and neighbors nuts.
