Amazing monitoring headphones used by most of the recording studios around the world.
The sound you get is crisp and is very comfortable to wear these headphones so you can wear them for quite a while.
The price is great!
well worth your money and i bought two of the great headphones and i have to give a 'big up' to the dolphin music staff as they provide excellent customer service with a great fast email support and also furiously fast delivery!

Very comfy, I have the 80ohm version which are nice and loud with clarity and precision.
The only downside is that I find these a tad bassy around 120-180hz range. Not a massive issue but annoying nonetheless. Other than that their built well, have a nice long cable and have good noise reduction. Very pleased with the purchase.

I am looking for new cans (was up till now considering mid-range sennheisers). A colleague lent me these to try; he has had his for 2 years and is happy with them.
They sound and even feel good. Looks are so-so but even the "Princess Leya retro" look is growing on me.
I was hoping to buy something cheaper but they are grin-inducing.
I'm a woman looking for a pair of headphones not a professional musician or knowledgeable audio officianado but I can say that the sound is crystal, responsive and I hear layers I had never heard before.
Added plus; lovely velour earpads that are replacable.
I want them.....
It’s closed operating system makes it especially suited to exclude ambient noise. Ideal for project studios, recording studios and location recording. Studio headphones that are 400 ohms, closed systems, white, with K 100.07 straight cable and 1/4" stereo jack.

I bought a pair of these from Dolphin music in Huddersfield, and I've got to say this is money well spent. I was going to opt for a much cheaper pair originally, but after doing a bit of research/reading some reviews (and the fact that nearly every photo you see of any musician in a recording studio they will be sporting a pair of these !) I decided on spending a bit more and getting a pair of DT100's. What can I say, I'm very impressed with the overall sound of these, the closed cup system really does exclude any ambient noise, their comfortable to wear over long periods of time, their well made and very rugged. I'd recommend these to anyone thinking of buying a quality pair of headphones, I can't fault them.

This is the second pair of these headphones I have purchased. I have used other headphones in the past, but never been satisfied with the sound. The dynamics of the DT100 are superb allowing every note to be heard clearly wether used as a mixing desk monitor or musicians headphones. They are comfortable to wear even for long periods and keep unwanted sounds out for superb clarity. A top quality product that I throughly recommend for technicians and musicians after perfect sound quality
The transducers are fitted to adjustable yokes which should be positioned to fully enclose the ear. This will provide the optimum ear/speaker position for accurate sound monitoring. The coiled cord can be extended to a maximum of 3 m and is terminated with a high-quality gold plated mini-jack and a 1/4" stereo jack adapter. Features Open studio headphone, equalized…
I have been using these headphones now for 2 years, and they are simply perfect.
In previous reviews some comment that the headphones are "blowing" and that the bass is distorting - this is because they are super accurate low level monitoring headphones, wich is why they are so precise and have such clarity.
If you need to monitor at louder levels, switch to some HD25's (which I also use), but for mixing down and excellent bass response, these are the best headphones in their range on the market.

Rugged reliability, user servicable components and a well balanced sound make the DT100 the absolute, hands-down studio standard. Aesthetically they are far from attractive and look more like ear defenders which gives you some clue as to the design feature that helps eliminate outside noise.
So how do they sound? In short, well balanced bass & treble but with a noticeable peek in the mid range. In greater depth, if you are after an audiophile experience with rich bass, smooth mids and crisp trebles, you'd be better off buying a pair of £30 Sennheisers!
That said, the overall sound is detailed and more than suitable for the job of monitoring during recording. Although you should never mix using headphones, sometimes it is the only option. Given the DT100's mid frequency boost, I wouldn't reccomend mixing with these phones unless you have some A/B material to hand. If not, your mixes will translate with a noticeable mid presence.
Finally, do you go for the 16ohm or 400 ohm version? I opted for the 400ohm and found it worked well with my NAD amp and my Mixer output but, plugging into my soundcard gave a thin, quiet sound. If your going off your soundcard then the 16ohm option is likely more suitable and will doubtless also work well with MP3 players and other portable devices. For Hi-Fi & Studio use, the 400ohm option will suit better.

If they were good enough for the Beatles (and everyone else ) then they are good enough for you. I bought a pair of semi open AKG 240s from Dolphin a while back and they are the best headphoines I've ever had for mixing but they don't give the isolation for recoding anything acoustically - vocals, acoustic guitar. Everyone but everyone uses DT100s they are absolutely the best closed headphone buy you will ever make - look nowhere else.

Home setup I use the Akg 81dj's - the DT770 Pro are the current Bass Daddy's, these fit and sound a lot better than the 81dj's!
If you want low bass with punch purchase these - you wont be disappointed.
For people interested in using them with a PVP they run fine on my Cowon D2, but some may wish to Amp them. The 770's are very loud and could probably do with a touch of eq on the treble, but then I normally use SE530's with my D2.
A bargain can for bassheads anywhere.

I bought these to replace an old pair of cheap headphones and am just blown away.
I mostly use them with a Line 6 Pod XT and iPod nano (1G) and I'm hearing familiar recordings in a whole new way. (Rage Against The Machine never sounded so fresh!)
One downside is that they can be very unforgiving with poorly recorded or encoded material, revealing every click and flaw. It's especially easy to hear the difference between lossless and MP3s under 256kbps for example.
With high quality recordings, however, these 'phones are the business.
Pros:
- sound reproduction is astonishingly clear and vivid
- wide sound stage
- bass is deep and resonant without being overpowering.
- reduction in ambient background noise
- light and extremely comfortable to wear; easy to forget you have them on!
- top quality construction
- great out-of-the-box (apparently Beyerdynamic run their top level 'phones in at the factory)
Cons:
- lack sparkle with classical music
- reveal flaws in poor recordings and encodings
To sum up, I'd recommend these without hesitation. They're excellent value for money considering the remarkable sound quality. Anyone listening to their music collection with stock earbuds really should give these a try and hear how music should sound.

My first experience of Dolphin Music has been overwhelmingly pleasant. A good level of detail listed for the product I was searching for (decent studio-grade headphones), exemplary customer service and delivery. All at a very reasonable price too!
These headphones (Beyerdynamic DT 250) are killer cans! Don't buy them thinking they'll make your music sound good - you should by buying Senheisers if you want that polished Hi-Fi sound. These tell it like it is!
Suddenly I can hear EVERYTHING in a track, from previously hidden hiss to fractional distortion caused by clipping... these Beyers have no mercy! Quite simply an essential purchase if you're putting music onto loud or particularly 'clear' systems. These headphones will show you any weaknesses the moment you listen in.
They've made EQing tracks a complete doddle - even a decent set of monitors impart a bit of colour due to reverbaration in the studio, these 'phones are as close to wiring the mixing desk into your brain as I've found yet (less painful too!)
As they're only 80 ohms they'll work well when listening to tracks on an MP3 player too - but again you'll need to be listening to high quality music or you'll quickly find yourself being hyper-critical due to the clarity they provide.
Physically they're top-notch too. The curly cable prevents that irritating head-yank whenever you stray too far from the desk, it's long without being tangle-happy too! The pads are comfortable for a few hours mixing and will fit most ears (not your grandpa's though!) As they're Beyers they'll live for almost ever and if anything should ever go wrong you can easily get them field-serviced too.
Closest competition is probably the old DT 100 Beyers... which are excellent but a bit bulkier and more gentle on the sound. The DT 250s give a more clinical insight into the full EQ range, whereas the DT 100s don't seem as clear in the mid to high EQ range. The felt pads on the DT 250s shouldn't flake off after 20 years of use either (not that I can really complain that the DT 100s did that - 20 years is OLD for any headphones!)
All-in-all they're exactly what I needed, and would highly recommend them to any budding studio engineers / serious home recording artists out there.

Put simply, great microphone. I've had this mic for around 1.5 years, never broken, the cables i use have come and gone many times, but the mic has stayed the same. it has a great frequency response, sounds good for my live vocals in the band when we go gigging, and it has a good weight and feel. its cardioid pattern helps sometimes, we use it when we record guitars through amps.
the band currently has 3 of these, and one has even been dropped in beer, still works a treat!
i highly recommend this mic to anyone looking to use it for vocals, recording and general use; its the nest quality for the money. im even thinking of getting rid of my SM57's.
The highly stylish DTX 800 sets a new standard of performance in Hi-Fi reproduction thanks to newly developed ultra -lightweight mylar diaphragms coupled with neodymium magnet circuitry. The circum-aural design along with a padded headband, ear cups with a dual swivel feature present a headphone with extraordinary levels of comfort. The connecting lead has both 3.5/6.3 mm stereo jack…
Light, comfortable with a great warm sound. I wanted headphones for recording voiceovers on corporate videos as well playback from my keyboard so checked out the which? site and these were by far the cheapest of the top rated. I did not want DJ style phones that cut out all external noises but needed them to give a realistic and great sound and these have done the job nicely. Definitely recommended.

I am a semi pro guitar player/backing vocalist with regular gigs.I have rated this stand at 7/10 only because it is new & I have only used it twice at rehearsals. It appears to be robust enough for a gigging musician & is well built.
The reason for purchase was to replace two "Samson" stands that failed to operate properly after a year or so - don't buy Samson stands if you are a gigging musician, they are not fit for purpose, the height adjustment mechanism is rubbish & locks up after a while.I based this purchase on the "Quiklok" name being widely recognised for quality - Lets hope this proves correct - Watch this space for an update.
