The booth arrived fully export crated and armed with a cordless screwdriver I set about unpacking.
2 people are needed to assemble the booth as the panels are quite heavy, especially the window and door units but assembly relies on velcro and gravity. There are no fixings.
This installation was in my home studio with a standard 7ft 6in ceiling. I would would say castors are essential but be aware of the ceiling height.
The base and roof are NOT square and once this is established, assembly is easy providing you plan where your door and window are to be situated.
Walls slot into place, sucured by steel angles already fitted to the base and simple velcro straps at the top of the adjacent wall.
The roof panel stabilizes the walls and squares up the whole structure. 2 cable entry/exit holes are provided together with a ventialtion system complete with baffle boxes to reduce noise.
Total assembly time, including unpacking 2 hrs.

The studio is close to the motorway and background noise is a real problem. The booth has completly eliminated this, allowing for pro quality voice-over and vocal recording with a Neumann U87. Complete soundproofing is around 80% effective but for reduction in background noise this booth has solved my problem.

Had to get a vocal booth in a hurry. Dolphin were fantastic, especially Chris who deals with the vocal booths, very helpful and patient.
It says in the marketing blurb that it's easy to fit and can be done in a couple of hours - well it is and it can!! I was amazed at the attention to detail in the making of the booth and how easy everything just fitted. I'm very happy with it and so are my neighbours.
