Just bought Fender CD-60CE Natural and I'm delighted with it, has a great clear sound, easy to play, and fits me like a glove. I’ve also bought the Fender mini twin amp 1950s classic style to go with it. At first I was mortified how small it was, but soon found it has a great sound and sits neatly on my computer desk top. I phoned Dolphin and a guy answered who put together an Accessory Pack for me, guitar lead, strap, bag and stand. Everything came in good time and in good condition. I’ll gladly continue to shop with them.
Icon. Not a word to be used lightly. But the Stratocaster is just that. The new American Standard Stratocaster guitars are beauties to behold in sound, look and feel. We kept the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability. Features A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles and…
This guitar was made in 2008. It's the new line of Strats boasting the American Standard name. Just as the name implies it was made in America, more specifically in Corona, California. It has 22 medium jumbo frets. 25.5" scale and I think is a C Shape neck although I could be wrong. It fits in my hand very well though. The body is solid Alder. There are many different color options, I got mine in Olympic White (because I'm a Hendrix fanatic). I think it's a Nitrocellulose finish which means it will yellow after a while, but I think it just makes it look cool and Vintage. 2-point American tremolo, 5-way selector and one volume and 2 tone knobs, typical Strat stuff. 3 single coil pickups. Also there is a hard shell case which basically allows you to throw your Strat down the stairs. There is also a cable and strap included. The sound that comes out of this thing is amazing. The tonal possibilities are endless. The singles coil pickups are great. The neck pickup is great for a lead tone, extremely rich. The bridge pickup has that great Fender twang. This is an extremely versatile guitar. You can play all kinds of rock and blues. Even metal (with a pedal), although for metal a humbucker would be better, so you can but an H/S/S or H/H Strat.
The action on this guitar was perfect from the the box. Everything was adjusted perfectly. The finish is thin however. This does allow the guitar to resonate better but at the same time the paint is more likely to chip. Also the fretboard has a nice gloss finish which gives it a great Vintage look.
This guitar can definitely be thrown around. The paint may be thin but the body itself is extremely durable. My friend dropped his down the stairs and it plays just as good (this is not recommended however). The strap buttons seem to be good although I've only had this guitar for a little over a month now. Very dependable guitar.
overall I love this guitar. If you like blues, light rock, rock, hard rock, punk, grunge etc. this guitar will work well. The neck and body are just perfect. You can play for hours.

Ok- i have to admit, when this arrived i was a little disappointed- the front looked a little plasticcy and the pick-guard was a little scratched- but then i started playing. I'm a bass player and this was my first "normal" guitar- but it sounded great, even though i'm only a beginner. Easy to tune (due to tuner on the side)and it stays in tune really well.

This guitar is great!
I upgraded the nut and saddle to bone and fitted a Seymour Duncan Woody XL at the bridge side of the sound hole. It sounds great through a Roland GE-7.

Great guitar, possibly the best £80 I ever spent, for the price it can not be beat, was expecting to have to change the strings but they are fairly good for the price. This guitar would be great for any beginner or intermediate player and I would reccomend it to anyone looking for an acoustic guitar to just have fun playing, everything is solid and good as new. I can not think of a fault to state with this guitar. Amazing value.

When I ordered my Arctic White Fender Standard Stratocaster from dolphinmusic.co.uk, I didn't quite know what to expect. I was aware that, having never seen the guitar in its tangible form before, there could be some differences from the image on the site; for example, perhaps it wasn't quite as white as the image of the web looked. Also, I had heard rumors from friends that ordering guitars online is dangerous with rough shipping interfering with the instrument's action etc.
Nevertheless, the guitar arrived in pristine condition at my house less than 48 hours from when I had ordered it. Being very well packaged (almost too securely, for my eager hands) I eventually managed to rip the sturdy cardboard box from it and reveal the guitar itself - inside the complimentary gig-bag, of course. I was actually surprised by the gig-bag's quality. Being free, I wasn't expecting anything special - but the bag is very well padded, has a handy pocket on the front with two shoulder straps on its back.
Anyway, after quickly acknowledging the gig-bag, I zipped it open to reveal my gleaming new guitar. And boy, does it play! The strings have just the right amount of flexibility to pull of great bends, but I found them quite tinny. The tremolo bar takes quite a while to screw in, and there comes a point where, to screw it in further, you have to unplug the lead from the guitar because the angle at which the lead protrudes from the guitar makes further screwing difficult. Of course, this isn't a big problem; but for people like me, who take off their tremolo bar for transport and naturally plug their guitar in before sticking the bar back in again, it could prove a nuisance. The guitar plays beautifully, but I expected nothing less from the most popular brand of guitars out there. The wood is soft and a comfort to play on and the white body is polished and gleaming.
Overall, is was well worth the bargain price from Dolphin Music, and I am pleased with the guitar very much so.
It came in perfect tune too, which was a nice touch.

I have had this guitar for almost a year now and can say quite honestly, that it not only looks amazing, but even if you make a mistake while playing it still sounds cool! The finish is breathtaking, as you would expect from a USA guitar. The feel of the neck, the silver Fender logo and the aged plastic covers. The things in my mind that set it apart from the standard american strat are the pickups, locking tuners and the S1 switch. I have played both and the pickups are noticeably hotter on the deluxe along with zero hum. If you are puzzled by the science behind the S1 switch, to the ‘layman’ it simulates a deeper/humbucker style sound to me. Very cool if you want a typical fender single coil sound but also need a ballsy humbucker on occasion!!
The locking tuners are also a nice touch because you just thread the string through, tighten the screw, wind the peg up to pitch and snip off the excess. It stays in tune all the time, only tiny adjustments are needed from time to time.
The bridge is the vintage two post type which can take quite a bit or vibratto action although as there is no recess underneath it (like on a Floyd Rose equipped guitar). To flex the bridge back without adjusting the action (height of the bridge) will result in you hitting or denting the body underneath the bridge! Although if you want massive Van Halen style play look else where!
I have given it 10 out of 10 because every time I play it, it puts a smile on my face.

10 minutes out of the box and I was playing with full backing. First great feature for me was taking songs and just changing the key to cords that I am practicing and instantly thr backing picks it up. The choices of amp sounds and all choices are stunning once you get used to the idea of selecting an item and then using the speed dial to set all the indvidual elements of that item..you can take this anywhere you want.. this is not just a beginners toy which I thought it might be, even my wife came and said "is that you playing" simply because it was a full set sound and not me strumming endless cords. I was able to play those half worked out songs and cords/licks that I know, set up the sound choices I wanted adjusted the tempos while I got into the timming from the drummer and other instuments, I could not switch it off . If this tool does not leep me forward then I don,t know what will. I have never reviewed anything before but this baby made me want to share my views. My local music stores had it from £239 to £249. I have spent loads on things that do not see the light of day anymore I don,t think I KNOW this will be different.
Fender has re-entered the bluegrass arena with the Fender FB-54 5-String Banjo, a banjo that follows their tradition of quality tone, superb playability, and great value. This attractive instrument features stylized inlay work and meticulously finished chrome hardware that's second to none. Powerful, cutting tone comes from the 27-3/8" scale length, mahogany resonator and neck, rosewood fretboard, aluminum rim with…
This is a fantastic entry level banjo, it has that old skool banjo twang and the banjo itself is beautifully crafted.
This is instrument is good value for money and is extremely quick and easy to set up, the quality is that of a more expensive Banjo for a lot less.
I recommend this banjo to anyone who would like to learn the banjo as the sound is second to none and will give you hours of fun learning old country, bluegrass and rock melodies.

Bough this guitar as a B-Stock. Not a scratch or a fingerprint on it.
The guitar holds tune extremely well and even has a reasonable factory setup which is rare for a Mexican fender guitar. I will still be setting it up myself for 10's.
The bridge pickup sounds great, not as sharp as an American Tele but that's why I bought it.
The Neck pickup sounds OK although a little muddy. I'm gonna change the pots from the stock 250k to 500k to compensate.
The stock pots are quite scratchy so I may end up switching all of them.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with the guitar apart from the packaging it was sent in. Guitar in a soft case in a cardboard box. Not very safe considering the money spent! Bubble wrap people!
Other then that the service was excellent, would definitely buy from DolphinMusic again!
