Fender Strat MIM
Julian (January 1, 2012)Rating: 10/10
I just got hold of one of these. Considering it is 3 times cheaper than the American version, this is a stunning high quality guitar. I can't imagine how the American one could be 3 times better except for extra gadgetry.
The neck is absolutely spot on, and the gloss maple fingerboard is finished to an extremely high standard. Actually the whole guitar is extremely well built and finished. It has a pure Strat tone and the differing pick up combinations really make for a versatile sound. I heard rumours of these mexican strats going out of tune, but nothing like that has happened. (It was in tune when it came out of the box!). I've lowered the action on mine and it plays beautifully.
Ok, so its Mexican..I wouldn't let that bother you. It hasn't been thrown together, the quality is too high for that and it still has everything you'd want from a Fender Strat (because it is one!). I have played hundreds of guitars and this is as good as any of them so far.
Highly recommended!!

Wonderful Amp
Dennis (December 25, 2011)Rating: 10/10
I have pre CBS first issue black face Fender Princeton Reverb which I have use live and miced up since the early 70's. With my 70's Tele's and Strats other guitarists rave about my sound. I never got to hear it other than on stage but it always inspired my playing. I also have a '72 silver face Fender Twin Reverb. It is LOUD and clean. It can only be used at certain venues. So recently I purchased two, yes two! becuase my sons play now too , Fender Twin Amps. They are a new breed of Fender tube amps with I think 17 tubes! The circuitry and design is actually far far superior to anything Fender did back in the 50s an 60s. I think the sound I get set on the low 25 watt setting is equal to the sound of my Princeton Reverb and some. I use a Strat with Texas pickups, a Tele with James Burton pickups, a top of the line Peavey with Dave Gilmore pickups, a 335 Gibson and a Les Paul with DiMazio's. All of these guitars bring their own character to the Fender Twin. It is warm, lyrical, has a bite too as well as a growl. It is a pure sound too, so Fenderish. I have not had any problems with these and I have recently used them on gigs at London's O2 where other artists also used them and raved about them. I also have a JImi Hendrix Plex reissue with Marshall 1969 cabs and of course that is a different sound and style. I LOVE LOVE these amps and their versatility. Check out their circuit and features for patching in outboard effects. Amazing!!! Only ever had to change a fuse after it was left on on stage for a day and night for a huge show!

A great no frills amp. This amp has two controls - Volume and Tone. It works well because this is all it needs. I use it as platform for a gt6 which goes straight into the front end. I am a solo musician using backing but I am sure this amp would compete with a drummer but if I was doing the band thing I would be happy using two of these but you could always mike one up. I use a USA strat and tele which sound great with this amp.
This amp may seem expensive in comparison to some of the other amps of this size but it is very good value for money. If you want modelling and dsp etc. in an amp you will end up with a compromise.
What you pay for here is good quality and excellent sound. Great Fender cleans and if you want to use it in the traditional manner whack up the volume for lovely overdrive.
If you're in the market for a small amp you won't get much better that this at this price....Basic and great natural sounding.

Love this amp
Simon Towner (June 10, 2011)Rating: 10/10
This is a very cool piece of kit. I've bought effects pedals more expensive than this, and its a stereo multifx unit, a PC recording interface and a rather good modelling amp too - the sounds straight out of the box go from Hank and the Shadows to Muse-y weirdness via zeppelin and AC/DC. These sounds are pretty impressive, and that is before you've started to modify them to suit your taste. You can play along with your favourite tracks from an ipod or CD via a 1/8 jack input. You can also connect it up to your PC to gain more control of the amp modelling and effects with the software and usb cable supplied,
which pretty much deals with my only concern about this amp, that being that actually there are so many sounds on offer that tap for tempo buttons and rotary controls don't get the best out of it.
As an all round solution for practicing and experimenting, I find this ideal. It is also
surprisingly light for its size if you need to carry it somewhere! It probably doesn't have enough power to cope with more than rehearsals or a small pub gig, but thats why there are Mustang 2,3,4 and 5 models.
Fender Champion 600
Fender Champion 600
A fun and affordable tribute to a rare and historic Fender amp. Our new Champion 600 is a 5-watt tube amp with a 6” speaker and 1950 “two-tone” looks. Fender added a higher-gain preamp circuit to let the overdriven tone exceed that of the original, and they also added a choice of high- or low-gain inputs. Internal speaker jack enables use…

great amp
richard (April 1, 2011)Rating: 10/10
I purchased this amp to get some nice fender cleans at low sounds levels and it doesnt dissapoint. At 6/12 volume its about talking level and crank it up to 10-12 on the high channel its way past shouting level- quite enough for home use.
The amp is responsive to playing dynamics and breaks up nicely when attacked right.
I it is a well built amp, durable amp, despite only having it four/five months i know its built to last.
I would highly reccomend this amp to anyone on a budget looking for a first tube amp or anyone wanting a good quality portable amp.

Amazing sound for the size/price
keith spillett (February 28, 2011)Rating: 10/10
I hold the bass seat in a 17 piece big band, and have been using a Rumble 30 as my amp of choice for a few months. The roundness of tone, plus the ability to operate flat out for hours on end, should make this the number one choice, if you're in the market for an amp of this power rating. The noise-floor is so low, you can even mike it up if you need more oomph! When I was looking to replace its predecessor, which I had blown up, I thought I was going to have to spend at least £200-£300, then I discovered the Rumble range. In fact, I was SO impressed with the Rumble £0, that I've bought a 350 too, which I can ALSO thoroughly recommend.

Stunning Amp
keith spillett (February 28, 2011)Rating: 9/10
I recently purchased a Rumble 350 bass amp, as I was looking for something that could give the 100 Watt Marshall abusing guitarist of a band I've recently joined a run for his money. The Rumble certainly does THAT, and I would rate this as the best amp I've owned in nearly 40 years professional playing - even better than previous Traces, and the Ashdown it's replaced. It's amazing value for money, and isn't too heavy to move around either. Well done Fender!
Fender Super Champ XD
Fender Super Champ XD
The Super Champ™ of the early 1980s was an up-to-the-minute take on the venerable Fender Champ® amp. Bottom line, it had incredible gain and volume in a compact package-- a real surprise for guitarists who…

Lovely amp with a nice warm sound. I play a lot of reggae / dub and this amp has a wonderful balance of clarity and softness in the clean channel.
It is also just loud enough to be heard above drums in a practice. If my Superchamp was to break I would go right out and buy another.
It's just a shame there is not a louder one so I could gig with it.

What can i say? I picked this up for a (comparaative) song in the new yr sales, it turned up a couple of days later, and wow!
Can't fault the instrument - it's set up beautifully, and sounds great, and can't fault the service.
Dolphin, I shall return.
PS. James, no, this is a Mexican strat.
