Epiphone 1958 Korina Explorer (Antique Natural)

I have had this guitar for about 3 months now and WOW!!!
Firstly the neck is awesome! it's so smooth and there is no problem getting right up to the very last frets as it has a set neck. The frets are really close to the actual fret board so it has a really nice feel and you don't need to press down much at all.
The action is another great aspect, you can lower it until the strings are on the frets and your still able to lower it even more!
The pickups give a nice heavy sound and can also give a nice blues sound!!
It is the nicest guitar i have played on for looks and playability.
Also at this price its a real deal!!!

I have owned this guitar for two years now and overall, it's a great guitar. It has tone to die for and it looks awesome! When playing classic rock such as AC/DC or Led Zeppelin I couldn't hope for anything better. It works very well as a blues guitar as well, with the neck pickup selected and the tone turned down a bit. When playing metal, I can sometimes find that the pickups are a little weak. I play in a pub band and our other guitarist gets far more out of his pickups. There are two main problems with the guitar. Firstly it's very neck heavy so you will have to hold on to it whilst you play, and secondly the pickup selector switch does not last particularly long. When I switch from the neck to the bridge pickup I often have to fiddle with the switch for a while until the sound kicks in. This is not a major problem though, as this problem can be rectified. If you find that you need a pickup with a higher output, you could always upgrade to an EMG or a Seymour Duncan. Overall I think this is a great guitar and i would fully recomend it to anyone!

Price Matching

Dolphin Music brings you the best music gear at the best price. We are committed to superior customer service and have extensive product knowledge. However, in today’s market we may not always be aware of all the price fluctuations of the products we sell. So, we offer competitive price matching.

Please fill in the following form to request a price match.

What prices we will match?

We will compare prices for new, direct from manufacturer items, excluding any add-ons, options, or other special features which may affect price.

The item must be new and must be the exact same make and model (ie, the same size, version, etc.).

Since our postage charges are lower than most of the shops, the comparison price must be a "delivered cost" to the consumer.

If we are unable to verify the previous condition, we will notify you that we require additional information to verify the Price Match request. Our goal is to make this policy simple and hassle-free. We are committed to responding to your requests quickly.

The price you have found must be the Internet Retailer's regular, advertised price for a current and available item. The price you found cannot be a closeout, discontinued, blemished, year-end, inventory reduction, or any other type of advertised sale price.

Price Matching requests may not be combined with any other promotional discounts, specials or other price incentives.

Prices and price sources you have found which do not meet the above criteria or in which incomplete or inaccurate information is provided to us, will not be approved for our Price Match.
