  • Built to last with a new computer controlled matching process. The body is then satin nickel-plated. The NT1-A is designed to last a lifetime.
  • No PAD or Filters. Some microphone manufacturers include these in their budget products, but at what cost? The NT1-A can be used with very high sound pressure levels without perceptible distortion. Most people never use a high ppass filter on their microphones. Why pay for features you don't want or need at the cost of what is really important, true performance!

Rode NT1A Stereo matched pair

In short, I do not regret buying these. I already owned a pair of perception 200s, 2 C3s, a matched pair of C-2 pencils, an SM58 and Shure C606. Combined with the focusrite Pro 10 I/O, the low noise floor is outstanding and they are apparently the quietest mics in their class. It has been said many times before but they do compete very well against higher-end mics. For me, these mics sound like they are worth much more than the price I paid on Dolphin Music. While I do have a soft point for the AKG Perception 200s, if you can afford one matched pair go for these - they do not disappoint...
