Perfectly adequate for what i use it for, which is combining the outputs of two audio interfaces (fast track USB / Mbox 2 mini) out to my one pair of speakers. The chanells can get very noisy once the gain is past about 12 o clock however, but i was aware of this before i purchased. I probably wouldent use it to record through the one XLR (no phantom) in, but for just mixing it is perfect for me, and at a killer price
