Dunlop Crybaby
The Dunlop Crybaby has been named as the #1 Best Selling Wah-Wah pedal ever. This pedal is great for metal guitarists and the sound is amazing.
The GCB-95 sweeps 100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer for quick wah ramping
Effect On/Bypass switch at toe-down position of pedal travel.
I bought my first GCB-95 Crybaby in late Novemeber 2008 and I\'ve have been using it to kick start my heavy metal solos ever since. Wah-Wah pedals for me don\'t get any better than this. The GCB-95 is a very big part of my metal soloing sound and it will never let me down. Also I have to admit that the GCB-95 is a very solid pedal, it is a workhorse and that is one of the many reasons it will never let any metal guitarist down.
Many of my favourite metal records make good use of the Crybaby and I can see why. The battery life is very long and the pedal itself gives the best ball-crunching wah-wah sound I have ever heard.
This pedal is ideal for metal guitarists trying to imitate the same sound as Zakk Wylde, Kirk Hammett, Tom Morello and Slash. If there is any metal guitarist out there who wants to achieve that classic wah sound, this is the pedal for you. It\'s great value for money, and it will transform the sound of your solos. This wah-wah pedal is the BOY!

SWEET!
This is a great pedal. Not as versatile as other (more expensive) models, like several others found on Dunlop's range of Wah pedals .
But, if you think about it, Wah pedals were never meant to be too versatile anyway, back in the days when they were first created.
The GCB-95 does what I need it to do, and it does it well. It's very reliable, got a sweet tone and the battery life is fantastic - i didn't have to change it for over a year.
It's a pleasure to use this wah pedal, and it's got an unbeatable price tag too!
Classic Wah-wah Pedal
I tried many wah-wah pedals before finally settling on this one. The lists of artists who use it are impressive and this has been the "standard" wah-wah for many years.
The construction is very rugged and solid feeling and it is quite heavy. It's simple to use - just connect the input and output leads and fully depress the pedal forwards to turn it on or to bypass. This can be a bit tricky sometimes unless you put some weight on it - it's pretty hard to turn on/off if your sitting down.
The effect is awesome as anyone who has listened to the artists listed will know. I notice zero noise from using the pedal and it does'nt seem to affect the tone at all when in bypass mode.
I prefer to use a power adaptor rather than constantly using rechargable batteries so I don't know about the battery life. I recently bought a power adaptor which powers four of my pedals at once rather than having to use four plugs and is a good investment.
Some of the other wah-wahs allow you to modify the Wah (such as the Dunlop multi wah) but I find that the original has a great effect anyway and it is fine for the amount of times I use it. It also costs a lot less too. Test drive it by playing voodoo chile and you won't be disappointed.
