Axiom 25
This is simply an amazing product, I could not have asked for anything more. If you are thinking of getting an affordable midi keyboard this is the one to go for, I havn\'t seen any problems at all. I use logic studio 9 plus reason and it works perfect with them, plus it comes with abelton so if you are just starting this is a prefect software for you.
10/10
Axiom 35
Excellent midi controller, good if you are stuck for space and need features.
Great service from Dolphin
M-Audio Axiom 25
I've been using the M-Audio for a week now, and I think its a great piece of kit. The keys feel almost like a real piano, the pads are great for drum parts and the knobs and wheels are great additions.
Pros -
The keys are feel very nice.
The display is big and bright.
The pads are great for drum parts and are made of good rubber.
The keys double as buttons for the various functions.
Feels solid and robust.
Cons -
Its quite chunky and takes up more desk-space than it should.
Not all the keys are aligned properly.
You have to hit the buttons pretty hard to get to full velocity.
Overall, this controller is more designed for the musician-on-the-go than desktop equipment as the the pads let it double up as a drum machine, which prevents you from needing to carry so much around.
Purpose aside, this is a great addition to your arsenal, whether your a beginner or an advanced musician.
Axiom 25
I have been using the Axiom for 2 weeks now, and it is probobly the best control for the price, if i had more cash i would have gone for the Novation Remote SL25 weighing up functionality over price
Upside
Keys feel great i was a little concerned they would be feel cheep, having the pads is also a great bonus i never felt i would have used. The product is rock solid, already took it camping with me!
downside
Rotary knobs are endless, if you go too far they can jump from min to max and max to min.
Trigger pads are not as pressure sensitive as they could be.
Overall a great product, heard alot of bad reviews about m-audio generaly, no complaints here
m-audio axiom 25
amazing!!easy to use set up and has gr8 pads,i also purchaced reasons 3.0 with this iteam and in my opinion it was an excelent combination,
i highly recomend this product ans it is leght easy to use and has gr8 features.
SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
Pros:
Feature rich, yet affordable! What can be better than drum pads on a portable MIDI controller? Plenty of programmable knobs. Seamless integration with all the top software programs.
Cons:
None really... well just this small thing: It is USB powered so if you connect it through a hub, it must be a POWERED hub otherwise it doesn't function.
Comments:
I love it! I was just about to go get the M-Audio Triggerfinger so I could use the drum pads to tap out the percussion for my beats and then I saw that M-Audio put 8 of the same pads on the new Axiom 25. I bought one and it is sooooo friggin awesome! The build quality is TOP NOTCH. The pads and keys are all pressure and velocity sensitive (have aftertouch), and it is super light weight! I would have gladly paid $250-300 for this keyboard.
