What can I say...
They are awesome!!!
I Use these for DJing and wow..

I came here to buy just a budget pair of headphone and came across the HD215's..

The rotating cups r a great idea and r so much more comfortable then just pushing one side back, also i have used them around my neck with the arm bent at 90degrees towards my ear for quick switching of listening to the track playing, and the cueing track just by moving my head slightly to the side.. So i can be asured that the mixing is going perfectly..

They are a good weight, not heavy but not to light so you think they'll break easily..
Great build quality and really comfortable for long sets..

The sound quality is great, and the bass response is pretty good aswell...

I also own the CX300 in-earphones which started my confidence in Sennheiser, and the HD215's have continued my love for them..

Shame there wasn't any more pictures of how the rotating cups work... but found a site where sum pics make if very clear on how it works..

Because I can't compair these 2 the top end of the market i'm not going to give them 10/10..
But in my eyes they r worth more then what they r being sold as..

A must if you demand silence !

As a person who is a reasonably big fan of sennheiser audio hardware (owning 2 headsets and a pair of headphones), I was left quite suprised and how well a pair of closed headphones sound and feel.

I live in the noisiest house ever imaginable and play a lot of video games on the Internet which demand total silence and full concentration, the Sennheiser communication PC155 headset, just didnt cut it.

Unable to think clearly and with a sennheiser headset with a broken cable and another headset which didnt block any sound I was left with the only other alternative ... purchase a brand new set.

After looking about, I realised that closed set would be the only way to go and i needed a pair that looked relatively decent whilst also being relatively cheap and by chance I glanced upon the HD215 headset.

After ordering this cheap closed headset, the first thing which amazed me was the immaculate packaging that came with it, and the leather bag that came with it was a huge bonus.

It blocks out almost all sound plus music sounds great and almost as good as the HD497 open pair that I have as does positional sound coordination in games.

Sennheiser did a great job with this, thoroughlly recommended.
