The Platinum Standard In Samplers Gets Even Better. The new Akai MPC2500 Music Production Center is the recognized industry standard, a 32-voice drum/phrase sampler with up to 128 MB of RAM and extensive editing control.
Designed for professional music production environments and DJs and live club performers, the MPC2500 features a time-tested user interface, responsive velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads, twin onboard effects processors, four Q-Link controllers (two sliders/two knobs) for extensive real-time control, plus 10 outputs and a S/PDIF digital output.
The ultra-powerful MPC2500 sports a 100,000 note/64 track MIDI sequencer that can be assigned to four separate MIDI outputs for a total of 64 independently addressable MIDI channels. Internal sounds reside in flash memory and can easily be swapped for new sounds via compact flash cards, optional user installable hard drive, or the optional CD-ROM drive. A CF card with preloaded sounds is included to get you started.
