These professional condenser microphones for studio recording and live applications have all the big-time features packed in an extremely compact form factor. great mic

I\'m a home recordist, (for now), and to tell you the truth I wanted to buy \"good mics\" for my acoustic guitar, so I refused to get the berhringer C2, until, (the most important thing to do) I heard them on my acoustic guitar, it sounded clear, natural, and most of all, nice to the ear, in my opinion get a mic pre, so you can get better results in coloring the sound, in conclusion these DO work!!!
I hope this comment made up your choice.

Behringer C-2

I bought these at the same time as a pair of Behringer C3s to experiment with mic techniques and complete my collection with a matched pair of pencils. Like the C3s, these mics have moved from experiment to regular use especially for close miking of guitars and pianos. They are cost-effective mics that I can carry around schools along with the C3s for demonstrations without fearing that a student will break an item that cost a major portion of a month's salary.

As other reviewers have said, you can find much better mics but definitely not at this price - they are even a matched pair! For home studio use these are brilliant and not to be taken lightly. I highly recommend them for those on a budget - you will not be disappointed!

Good Quality, Good price and good size

WOW! These mics are very good quality and the size is perfect. I was thinking that I would have to buy some tom mics as well but these pick them up as if my toms were already miced up. ALL FOR ONLY £40!!! If you want to mic up your kit wether it's for gigging or recording and you don't want to spend too much these are the mics for you!!!

Behringer C-2 - WOW

Awesome - I first heard these mics in use at a festival my friend and co-sound engineer was desking. I was amazed that he was using only three mics on the drum kit. A kick, snare and one - yes one- C-2 as an overhead. The C-2 performed so well you could here the the symbols, toms and floor toms clearly and crisply. I immedialty bought a pair and have found them to be one of the best condeser mics I have used and heard for the price. They can take a little bit of dialing in in the mid range but once you have dialed them in the performance you get from them is as good as some more expensive condensers costing lots more. They also are well suited for use on accoustic guitars and work so well that, unlike SM57's, you do not need to shove it down the throat of the sound hole to get it to perform. This helps so much as the performer can be more relaxed as they (and you) do not have to worry about them knocking the mic if they move and the sound remains consitent. Yes you canget other mics that will outshine these but for the price they are unbeatable. Excellent purchase for anyone who is on a budget and requires excellent performance
