Pro Tools LE 6.9 upgrade is available as a free update for Pro Tools LE owners with Pro Tools 6.7 software. Please Note: This upgrade is only available on CD. There is no download available. 

The initial release of Pro Tools LE 6.9 is not compatible with Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger". For complete compatibility information, including information on the future free update for Tiger compatibility for Pro Tools 6.9 owners click here.

Pro Tools LE 6.7 Owners Please Note:
Pro Tools LE 6.9 is a free update for owners who are registered for Pro Tools LE 6.7.

Authorization of Plug-Ins: Pace's iLok USB Smart Key (sold separately) is required for all optional Digidesign and Digidesign-distributed plug-ins, plus many other third-party plug-ins and software options for Pro Tools 6.x. The Pro Tools application and included DigiRack plug-ins do not require an iLok.

Please note: Pro Tools LE 6.9 will not work without a Digi 002, Digi 002 Rack, or Mbox hardware system installed on your computer.

Digidesign® Pro Tools® 6.9 software brings a new cross-platform feature set to Pro Tools TDM and Pro Tools LE™ systems, with an emphasis on post production and advanced mixing functionality.

Includes Pro Tools LE 6.9 software supporting Digi 002, Digi 002 Rack, or Mbox systems running on qualified Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) systems. Pro Tools® LE 6.9 software brings a new cross-platform feature set to Pro Tools LE systems. Pro Tools LE 6.9 includes the powerful new high-resolution EQ III plug-in to help fine-tune your tracks. Other new features include improved workflow and ability to organize plug-ins by type and/or manufacturer.

Post Production Enhancements
Pro Tools TDM 6.9 software works with Avid Mojo® and Digidesign AVoption|V10™ video I/O peripherals and the Avid® Media Station|PT companion application to give video post production facilities an integrated audio-for-video solution that is both powerful and affordable. With deeper support for hardware interfaces, new software features, tighter integration with Avid picture systems, and a broader range of file standards, Pro Tools 6.9 software provides the key to smooth collaboration throughout the post and broadcast production cycle.

Advanced Mixing Features
With Pro Tools TDM 6.9 software, audio mixing functionality is greatly enhanced as well. Both experienced Pro Tools users and engineers who are more familiar with traditional consoles will benefit from powerful new software features that streamline mixing. By combining added support for the all-new medium-format ICON D-Command™ tactile worksurface, new capabilities for ICON D-Control™ systems such as inline console emulation, new automation features, non-destructive AFL/PFL (after-fader listen/pre-fader listen) Solo, and more, Pro Tools TDM 6.9 software makes creating great mixes faster and more intuitive than ever.

Additional New Features
Pro Tools 6.9 software also delivers additional features that will benefit all Pro Tools TDM and Pro Tools LE system owners. Pro Tools 6.9 includes the powerful new high-resolution EQ III plug-in to help fine-tune your tracks, and it enables users to organize all plug-ins by type and/or manufacturer. In addition, Pro Tools 6.9 improves integration with third-party sound library managers on Windows XP and incorporates a “Send to DigiDelivery” command to facilitate collaboration through the DigiDelivery™ file delivery system. Moreover, the availability of the Pro Tools user interface in Korean and Simplified Chinese expands the accessibility of this powerful software.
