One step down from the MS40, these extremely compact, super-affordable 2 x 10-Watt near field monitors feature ultra-high resolution 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converters, which let you connect digital sources directly in order to eliminate analog line-loss and hum. Connect your computer sound card, keyboard, MP3 & Mini Disc players and enjoy excellent detail and great dynamics—optical and coaxial inputs accept virtually all digital audio formats! The built-in amplifiers offer plenty of headroom, while the powerful woofers and tweeters provide an ultra-linear frequency response. Two stereo analog inputs featuring 1/8" TRS and stereo RCA connectors can be used simultaneously or mixed with a digital stereo source. The speakers also feature individual volume controls for both Line inputs plus Bass and Treble EQ controls, and there is a ¼" TRS headphone connector with a front-panel auto-mute loudspeaker function.

Avoid.

After not being able to get hold of the MS16's these were recommended to me by a dolphin staff member.

I purchased these going by the good reviews I have read. But upon setting them I noticed the right speaker makes a terrible vibrating noise which is unaccepable for studio work. I hoped this would be an isolated case but it appears I was wrong. The same issue is also posted on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E95Zh5dllCU

I shall be returning these and spending my money on something else. Avoid.

These were recommended over the M-Audio desktop speakers by a very helpful Dolphin staff member. I\'m very happy with the performance, they\'re ideal for a bedroom PC/DAW set-up; probably on the bassy side, but good quality.

Amazing

Ordered these in the morning got them the next day 9 am dot on. Brilliant little speakers if your looking for a cheap pair of speakers these are them. Had them all pretty much all day quality is great for the price. There is no doubt alot better speakers but again for the price just simple outstanding.

Budget

Great for the price but don\'t be under any illusions, these speakers are definitely in the budget category. They can get muddy at high volumes and I sometimes feel that they\'re missing some mids but at £75 quid they\'re the best of a cheap bunch.

Big plus is the amount of inputs, especially optical in.

If you have the cash go somewhere else, if it\'s tight you can\'t go too wrong.

Dolphin delivered these very quickly, from memory about 3 days. Which is a lot better than a lot of other online music sites I have dealt with. As soon as I got these monitors out of the box I noticed the weight, and rugged design. They are built to last and you can be reasured when you buy these and if you buy these that you will get a quality product. As for the sound, they a1re truely accurate, a flat response so you can mix in confidence. For such a small investment they produce a much more accurate picture of the audio than multi-media speakers. The frequency response across the board are presented very well and are a god send when you need to be able to mix in confidence on a small budget. Thanks a lot dolphin im really pleased with these and im sure many others who are looking at monitors who purchase these will be too.

Behringer MS20's

Before I purchased a pair of MS20's for my home studio I was routing my outputs through ordinary Hi-Fi speakers which at the time I thought gave an exceptional sound. I took advice from a proffesional to invest in some studio moniters. I purchased what seemed to be the most affordable value for money product. When setup and the EQ adjusted for the room the previous Hi-Fi speakers did not even compare.

Before I came across the MS20's I was convinced that a proffesional studio moniter did not make a difference to the sound produced in the studio. I am thrilled with the results I have got from my moniters and they have made a excellent controbution to my home studio. They have vastly improved my mixing and EQ experiences.

I purchased a E-MU 0404 Interface and the Behringer Digital Monitor Speakers and a S/pdif cable from Dolphin Music not long ago and I think they are exalant. They are so adaptable, and they came with a great bundle of software, Cubase LE, Cakewalk Sonar LE,Ableton Live Lite,and Wavelab Lite etc. The list go\'s on, I have a Tyros Keyboard that I use as my controler I get some great sounds out of my MS20 Speakers and I can recommend them to anyone.
