The Gibson SG Special '70s Tribute brings a pair of dual blade alnico humbuckers in the neck and bridge, TonePros vintage style tuners, and a maple neck with unique '70s thin-to-thick profile with volute to a 2012 upgrade of the SG Special which was so popular since its introduction in 1983. The Gibson SG Special '70s Tribute is available in four different finishes, this one being Gibson's classic Satin Ebony.

Gibson have ensured that the SG Special '70s tribute is just like the true classics. With a solid mahogany body, the Gibson '70s Tribute offers superb depth and balance, the maple neck is varbed to a profile unique to the era, yet is loaded with a pair of Dual Blade Alnico Mini Humbuckers for bluesy neck tones to crunchy and wailing leads.
