Ashdown Pino Palladino Duo Octo Bass Guitar Effects Pedal was designed to meet the octave requirements of Welsh bassist Pino Palladino. Palladino has always desired a fully controllable dual octave pedal that can create multiple eye watering Octave effects.
The Ashdown Duo Octo is an Octave Pedal with a difference because it produces a note precisely one octave below the note being played, at the exact same volume and based on the accurate waveform of the original signal.
Bass players can now reinforce their sound by amalgamating the new sub-octave note with the original signal to create plenty of character in their bass sound, particularly at times where it matters, i.e, to cover the lead guitarist when soloing.
