The sleek new Roland F120R Digital Piano is compact at 30cm deep and superbly contoured. The F120R piano would be a great addition to any home or stage from beginner to professional.
This upright piano for the home or stage comes with 60 built in rhythm accompaniments over 11 different genres. These rhythms can be expanded upon using the USB Memory input. With other onboard features such as a metronome, record function and side by side playability this piano is a teacher and students dream. It also comes in very handy if you have two students in the family as they can practise at the same time. Also both left and right pedals can be assigned as a damper for either side of the split keyboard.
The piano is also fantastically Eco Friendly as it has an incredibly low power consuption.
The built in external audio input can be used to connect in an MP3/CD player so you can play along to your favourite songs.
SuperNATURAL Piano
Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano was created by bringing together V-Piano technology and 88-key multi sampling technology. The SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine delivers natural and seamless changes in tonal colour in response to the player's touch. The notes have a smooth and natural decay just like your very own acoustic grand piano. The 88-key multi sampling comes from Roland spending hours analysing, sampling and synthesizing a variety of word class pianos and then faithfully reproducing these tones and resonance from key to key.
Ivory Feel-G Keyboard
The F-120R Digital Piano comes with an Ivory Feel-G keyboard, featuring Progressive Hammer Action with Escapement. The Progressive Hammer Action provides fast repetition with authentic expressivness as you would find on an acoustic piano. The keys look and feel like Ivory to the pianist and feel great under the fingers and very comfortable to play. These features are taken directly out of Roland’s flagship pianos so to find them on a piano at this price point is truly amazing.

Slim Cabinet Design
Compact, sleek, stylish and only 30cm deep, the F-120R can be placed anywhere in your house. The unique folding-lid design covers the keyboard safely when closed, and serves as a music rest when raised.
Skill-Building Features
More than a great piano; the F-120R is equipped with features to enhance your skills. The Twin-Piano feature, for example, is designed for side-by-side lessons or performances with a teacher or duet partner. It enables the keyboard to be split into two parts, each of which covers the same octaves. This makes it easy to see and hear when practicing beside a teacher. In the same way, the left and right pedals can be reassigned to act as damper pedals for either side of the split keyboard. The F-120R also has a built-in metronome and recorder, so you can practice with a perfect time reference, and record and listen back to your performances.
Digital Advantage
As the F-120 is fully digital, there are no strings to tune which means that this will never drop out of tune like an acoustic piano would. This also means that there is no need to worry about changes in temperature affecting or prematurely ageing the strings. Roland put all their Digital Pianos through rigouros temperature, pressure and drop tests before they are shipped. And since it’s digital, the F-120 lets you play through its built-in speakers, its external output, or quietly through headphones. The built-in external input lets you connect an audio player for play-along fun.
