5 top mics
Yes to the SM58 and the AKG C... But, as for the Rodes, I have discovered the. Rodes M2. Now that is excellent for live vocals and studio backing vocals. As for the others, well, it's subjective. I use the MXL Genesis which sounds as good as it looks my 5th mic changes according the venue and need. But I love most of the higher end of the MXL range, so I would probably go for the Revolation. As I said, it's subjective as is mics for amps, guitars and drums. However, Dolphin stock a large range and have been reliable in the 10 years I have bought from them. If I get stuck, Dolphin is usually who I ring first. I mean this most sincerely folks, regards Tom Gascoigne, gazsmobilestudio.co.uk
