Awesome

I had standard expectations when i ordered these headphones. I expected the sound quality to be good because there Sennheiser, but i expected the build quality wouldnt match up too well because of the price... I was wrong. Both the build and sound are outstanding considering the price.

The only issue i had was out the packet they were really tight. Wearing them felt like they was sucking my ear drums our my ear. I have had mine for a few weeks now and they have loosend up and feel great.

I was also expecting more from the bass response when i took them out the pack. A few hours loud music and war games with explosions soon sorted that out.

So to sum up these are great sounding and well built headphones. As with most headphones dont expect them to be awesome out the pack. Give them a few weeks to loosen and there fantastic.

If bass is you thing, you'll love these!!!

Generally excellent sound quality across the range

The hard hitting bass is great for action games -you can feel the explosions!

Comfy and well built

Nice long cable

NEG: The bass can be overwhelming - I've had to turn the bass settings way down in my software

possitive: It took a while to loosen up - sounded quite awful when I first tried them, but after a few days they started to sound brilliant.

Almost too good for listening to standard MP3 quality audio from a PC - reveals all the compression nastiness. Would be great for a nice Hi-Fi setup tho.

Other Thoughts: The usual awesome quality from Sennheiser. These are advertised as leaning towards the bass-end and they aren't kidding! Also, be prepared to run them in for a while before you judge them - they need to break in.

Bottom line: Not for the faint-hearted!
