The Fender 50th Anniversary Jaguar, celebrating 5 colourful decades of Jaguar success. The new Jaguar boasts some highly distinctive features, including the new 1 degree neck-angle-pocket cut, which helps to improve the instruments pitch. The Jag’s tremolo plate has also been re-positioned to increase the bridge break angle and the instruments ability to sustain notes. With specifically designed hot Jaguar single-coil neck and bridge pickups and “Claw” frames, the new Jag has the ability to deliver a much flatter tone with more output, and the notched metal claw frames assist in the reduction of ‘hum’ for a much crisper sound.
This guitar carries with it a vivid history, and this model simply evokes just that. Combining old and new concepts, features and designs into the Finest Jaguar yet, purely a chromed-out, surf-rock staple of the ‘60s. Available in 3 vintage Fender finishes, Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple red and Burgundy Mist Metallic, which evokes the original Jags Burgundy Mist finish.
