Worthless.
I bought one of these last year and it wouldn't stay in tune. Initially I assumed it was the second rate strings supplied with the instrument, so I changed the strings. Favouring my electric guitar I didn't play it for a while and kept it stored away checking regularly for any damage. I hadn't played it for 2 - 3 months so I changed the strings.. That was a week ago.. this morning the truss rod fell out. Just slipped right out of the neck.
This guitar DOES NOT stay in tune. 2 minutes of playing and they have to be tuned again, mainly the D, G, and B strings by 1/4 to 1/2 a step. The tuning pegs are wonky which I didn't notice until a few days ago. The truss FELL OUT! It has too much tone and the frets aren't set in the neck properly.
As a beginners guitar, Stagg acoustics are a waste of time in my opinion. I paid £50 for this and it isn't even worthy of being cannibalised for parts.
I bought a second hand 'Eastwood' beginners acoustic 2 weeks ago.. and it stays in tune long enough for me to play for 45 minutes to an hour before it's anywhere near as bad as the Stagg.
I have owned many acoustic guitars since '94 when I started playing. To my recollection, the Stagg is the worst i've ever had.
Don't waste your money. Save up for a REAL brand name guitar and forget that the Stagg Guitar company even exist..
