Ok, it's cheap, and does the job, but beware:

1. Weight: it says made of steel so you'd think it's heavy. No it's lightweight and will not balance an overhead mic adequately.

2. Sturdy? The fittings are cheap plastic which I fully expect to stop working sooner than later.

3. The lower part is only 24" high - all my other stands are 32" so don't expect it to reach to a drum overhead mic.

4. Sleek: if it were a panther, maybe.

This is nowhere near the roadworthiness, reach or weight of a good stand. It's consigned to the studio for light use. Should have bought a K&M stand! It is black, though.
