The Les Paul Classic Plus models are available in four incredible transparent nitro lacquer finishes, over AA figured western maple tops. The Classic Plus guitars include high-output ceramic pickups, binding and the traditional Les Paul trapezoid inlays.

The Les Paul Classic Plus guitars produce an incredible tone; made possible by Gibson’s use of the hard, stable and sonically “live” baked maple fingerboard. This wood baking process (torrefaction) gives the fingerboard the much-desired snappy response of ebony whilst retaining a warm, medium brown appearance that many players appreciate similar to the Brazilian pau ferro. The materials used in the manufacture of the Classic Plus models were specially selected to enhance and improve the guitars overall tone and sound quality.

The Classic Plus guitars feature a nitro lacquer finish which is extremely luxurious and toneful and will prove its own importance as the guitar ages. Nothing but Gibson excellence.

Available in '50s and '60s style Trans Ebony Burst, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, Manhattan Midnight and Vintage Sunburst.
