When the original Line 6 Variax guitars stormed into stores back in 2002, they received an outstanding reception from guitarists who were in need of a helping hand, which is essentially what the Variax guitars are, a blessing for guitarists everywhere, and the new James Tyler series is no exception. The JTV range Combines traditional playability with the convenience of technological features. Dolphin are now stocking the latest Line 6 series of digital guitars with the latest sound modelling technology.
Designed by renowned luthier James Tyler, the JTV series features an internal library of modelled guitar sounds including settings for Fender Telecasters, Gibson Les Pauls and even the legendary Epiphone Casino. In addition to a number of electric guitars, the JTV guitars also stock a selection of somewhat more extreme sounds, such as a sitar, an acoustic guitar and even a 12 string guitar.
With the JTV range, there’ll be no more switching guitars mid-performance, down-tuning strings and no more painstaking transpositions. Besides being a superb performance guitar, the JTV guitars are also compatible with your computer (Mac/PC) and come together with Variax Workbench software. This software application enables you to create truly unique guitar tones and load them into your guitar, all accessible from the twist of a control knob.
The Line 6 James Tyler Variax guitars are available in three very different models, the JTV-89, JTV-69 and JTV-69.
