The NTX1200R is a professional prodel that is perfect for adding the warmth of a nylon string acoustic to your music with features including A.R.T 2way Pickup System (System 61), A.R.E (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), a solid sitka spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. The Yamaha NTX1200R Classical Electro-Acoustic Guitar, Natural offers extended playability making the NTX1200R perfect use with a wide range of styles. The Yamaha NTX1200R is a capable instrument, delivering everything from subtle fingerpicking to flatpick solos.
Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E) is an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise control of temperature, humitidy, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years. In the Yamaha NNX Series guitars, the A.R.E treatment results in a sound close to a vintage guitar that has been played for year. It produces a sharper tone while simultaneously controlling dissonance in the high range.
