Really pleased with this guitar.
The finish is great, the body feels substantial without being too heavy. The neck has a familiar Fender feel and a satin finish. The rosewood board needed a bit of lemon oil but otherwise fine. The tuning and intonation were spot on out of the box as was the action. The neck has a nice vintage stain, but the wood looks a little cheap and perhaps not maple - but hey ! a few sharp frets but nothing to worry about and will play in i'm sure.
I was unsure about the anodised metal scratch plate but having seen it , it looks fabulous and i wont be changing it just yet.
The vibrato is ok - the bar is a little floppy, but i probably wont use it that much.
The pickups are great and generally the hardware is all solid and well made. The Pups have a great tone - a little beefier than single coils but not as harsh as hum buckers - about perfect.
The guitar sounds great unplugged with loads of sustain, which is always a good sign.
All in all a great guitar for the money. Love it.
