beta58 Wireless system
The system is incredibly easy to set up & use. It literally takes 5 seconds & your ready to go.
Both reciever & transmitter are simple to operate, sound is clear & true & absolutely no feedback even with the loudest back line.
I have the Beta 58 head & have rated this 10/10. Beautiful piece of gear, with everything you need presented in a well crafted case. For me its true beauty is in its simplicity.
The legend lives on!
Same great mic, just no wires...
So, my previous Sennheiser radio mic broke. Hadn't had it long and it broke. So I went shopping for a new one and did 'the' research. Most of the time I use a radio mic for the caller in our Ceilidh band, occasionally for singing too. All the other stage mics are SM58s so it made sense to look at this. Didn't want it to break any time soon so hoped that this would be a sturdy unit for several years use (my cabled SM58s are indestructible).
Well, it didn't disappoint. It sounds like an SM58, it feels like an SM58 and it looks like its as sturdy as an SM58. The only difference is that there is no cable to trip over!
The range is fine, not dropped out yet even when our caller has been a LONG way from the band. If I had a tiny complaint (hence the 9 rather than the 10) then the mic itself is quite LARGE with the battery compartment/IR thingy at the base.
Mind you, the caller, who is female, doesn't mind the size at all...
All in all...its an SM58 with no wires.
Nuff said.
