Trigger Finger puts the power to program and perform expressive percussion and drum parts at your fingertips.

Its 16 velocity-sensitive pads are perfect for playing the drum sounds in your favorite software, launching loops and samples, or even controlling video projections—and applying pressure to the pads can generate any MIDI controller you wish.

Trigger Finger also gives you 8 knobs and 4 faders that are freely assignable to MIDI parameters such as volume, pan, pitch, and effects. Pre-programmed maps for Reason, Live, GM Drum, XG Drum, iDrum, and more make setup a snap—and full programmability lets you customize the unit to fit your needs.

Settings are easy to store via 16 presets, and M-Audio’s free Enigma librarian software for PC and Mac lets you create a collection of even more. Getting up and running with Trigger Finger is a total no-brainer. The unit is bus-powered, so a simple USB connection to your computer handles it all. Control Anything You Want

While our main focus in designing Trigger Finger was drum programming, full programmability means that you can use it to control any MIDI devices you wish. Launch Clips or Scenes in Ableton Live, trigger video clips in VJ software, or fire off samples in your favorite DJ software—or anything else you can think of. There’s even a MIDI Out jack that let’s you connect external MIDI gear.

Trigger Finger

Only had it for a few weeks so can\'t give a full review, but so far it\'s a great piece of kit. Easy to set up and get recognised by your machine, music software etc...

Only used the supplied Enigma software to set the pad sensitivity to full, then got rid of it - useless program. Program the controller using the manual/online resources to your own specifications and you\'ll be away in no time!

M-Audi Trigger Finger

From reading much about this device I wanted to add it to my existing keyboards and strings system. Out of the box it was not as simple as I expected, failing to make a sound in my copy of Live 6. The web saved the day. I set the trigger finger to default to Live x 2 format and voila cracking good sounds.

I half expected the config to lapse after power off for a few days and was pleasenatly suprised to discover all was still there.

It is a great piece of kit, and as a disabled musician just what I need to pump out those beats. I strongly recomend the trigger finger and with Dolphin's great export service I am totally thrilled.

Trigger Finger Review

i had heard loads about the trigger finger and thought that it might be a great addition to my small computer based studio. The trigger finger is a straight out the box, usb contoller that can be used to programm drum parts and what i thought it was great at doing was programming bass parts in programms such as reason. i also use it to trigger samples and loops off within ableton live.

the trigger finger has four fully programmable sliders and eight fully programmable knobs to tweak parameters within programms like reason. What i found about the trigger finger is that, if you find you are not that claever at the keyboard, it may be difficult to programm harders drum parts into your sequencer.

Overall the trigger finger is a fantastic contoller, that has alot of "action" in my studio. I would reccomend that this product is considerd by any beginner or anyone who has a small based computer audio studio..
