The s1000 is rated at 330 watts per channel, however due to its flexible modes of operation, it is capable of powering up to 1000 watts rms (in bridge mode) or up to 500 watts rms (at 2 0hms) is stereo mode.
The S1000 Power Amp is the entry level amp in the new S series of amps from Wharfedale. The S1000 is housed in a two rack space unit with a front panel that provides simple status conditions with LED indicators for Power, Protect, Bridge, Peak and Signal Present along with convenient operating controls that include a power switch and volume controls for each of the two input channels. The S1000 is fan cooled and cage protected for ease of cooling the internal componants.
