Akai Professional’s Analog Custom Shop Tri-Mode Distortion guitar effects pedal is an excellent alternative to the Deluxe Distortion. Tri-Mode Distortion combines Level, Tone and Distortion knobs with a Fat, Boost and Warm Tri-Mode switch in heavy-duty polished stainless-steel housing. True-bypass switching, three adjustable knobs and tone toggle switch provide precision tone control.
Tri-Mode Distortion’s Tri-Mode toggle-switch gives guitarists detailed gain control ranging from a speck of dust to a thick, dirty tornado of sound. Select Fat, Boost or Warm to enable soaring leads, lush chords and satisfying rhythm tones. Tone may be further adjusted using the three precision Level, Tone and Distortion knobs.
Tri-Mode Distortion is powered by the included 9-volt battery or 9v AC adapter (sold separately).
The Analog Custom Shop consists of these ten pedals: Phase Shifter, Analog Delay, Blues Overdrive, Chorus, Compressor, Tri Mode Overdrive, Deluxe Distortion, Flanger, Tri Mode Fuzz, and Tri Mode Distortion.
