Roland RD300NX Digital Stage Piano
The RD-300NX is a lightweight version in the RD range of digital stage pianos from Roland. Containing the SuperNATURAL Sound Engine the RD300NX packs by no means less quality or playability. Roland developed the SuperNATURAL Engine to be available in all price points of their piano ranges. This means that you have the same sound quality as a Roland piano of twice the price.
This amazing stage piano boasts a newly concieved Ivory Feel-G Keyboard with Escapement and much more. Escapement occurs when you press the keys down slowly and you then feel the resistance grow, and eventually become lighter. This is a key feature of acoustic grand pianos and Roland have added this subtle detail in to make this feel like a quality instrument and give you the user an all round better playing experience.
The graphic LCD display helps the user create and manipulate the existing piano presets to create your own unique sounds. It has MIDI & USB connectivity so giving you the ability to connect it to your DAW, trigger other sounds from sound modules. The USB Input allows you to connect a Memory Stick and play songs straight off it for backing or pratice.
The RD300NX replaces the now discontinued RD300SX. It is also has a big brother in the form of the equally fantastic Roland RD700NX which carries all the same features as the RD300NX and much more, including the Deluxe PHA III Ivory Feel Keyboard and over 240 tones.

SuperNATURAL Piano Engine
Roland's SuperNATURAL Piano was created by the combining V-Piano technology and 88-key multi sampling technology. The SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine delivers natural and seamless changes in tonal colour in response to the player's touch. The notes have a polished and natural decay just like your very own acoustic grand piano. The 88-key multi sampling comes from Roland spending hours analysing, sampling and synthesizing a variety of word class pianos and then faithfully reproducing these tones and resonance from key to key.
Ivory Feel-G Keyboard
The RD300NX Digital Stage Piano comes with an Ivory Feel-G keyboard, featuring Progressive Hammer Action with Escapement. The Progressive Hammer Action provides fast repetition with authentic expressivness as you would find on an acoustic piano. The keys look and feel like Ivory to the pianist and feel great under the fingers and very comfortable to play. These features are taken directly out of Roland’s flagship pianos so to find them on a piano at this price point is truly amazing.
