Review of Ernie Ball Earthwood 9-46 12 string set

Had these strings on my Simon and Patrick Cedar top 12 string for about a month, I think they do the job but there's not much of that 'jangle' that makes a 12 string special. There's nothing actually 'wrong' with them , it's that my ears prefer Daddario EJ38, 10 gauge phosphor bronze. Possibly (probably?) I've got used to having the EJ38s on, tuned down 3 semitones, or maybe it's that the different gauge is responsible. Or maybe the cedar top has something to do with this?
Once on and tuned up, they keep their tuning well, possibly needing a bit more fine-tuning than the EJ38s, I would consider these to be a good second set if you are looking for a spare set to the EJ38.
