Re-introducing the undisputed champions in price, weight and performance: the Fairchild 660 and Fairchild 670.

Designed in the early 1950s, the Fairchild 660 and 670 are variable-mu limiters. Variable-mu designs use an unusual form of vacuum tube that is capable of changing its gain dynamically. The result? In addition to featuring a tube output stage like the BF-2A, the Fairchild actually achieves gain reduction through the use of tubes!

Of course, Bomb Factory's no-compromise replicas capture every detail of these legendary pieces of studio gear.

Bomb Factory iLok Authorisations

The Digidesign Bomb Factory 4.0 and higher plug-ins have new iLok authorisations that are different from legacy Bomb Factory products. ILok authorisations for Bomb Factory versions 3.0 and earlier will not work with the new Digidesign Bomb Factory 4.0 and higher plug-in installers. Customers who own legacy versions of Bomb Factory plug-in authorisations and wish to obtain new iLok licenses (authorisations) for the Digidesign Bomb Factory 4.0 and higher plug-ins should visit the Bomb Factory Legacy Plug-ins page in the Support area for information on Bomb Factory updates and upgrades.

Requires an iLok™ USB Smart Key for authorisation (sold separately).
