using the microphone
can you take the black stand of and use it for a shock stand
A Different Class
As a young musician, I am on a limited budget...and am used to buying equipment that sounds cheap. However, this condenser microphone sounds much better than a mic of this price has any right to; coupled with the Behringer Tube Ultragain MIC100 preamp, the sound is warm and rich, and silky smooth. It may not be as high quality as an AKG, but were you expecting that for under £30? And anyway, the difference is so slight that you may as well save your money and buy this beauty. One slight niggle is that the soldering on my first one was slightly flimsy, but the fact I\'m buying another one shows my opinion on this great microphone
its the bomb!
i told ma bro in the uk that i needed a mic for my mini studio recording...and he sent this site to me with the behringer c-1 mic i didn\'t believe it was real talk less of it being good or not so i told him he could get it anyway on the note that he was considering his pocket rate...when the mic was shipped down to nigeria & i tried it out...it was surprisingly great! could\'nt believe its clean and clear output...simply stunning:-bd
Behringer C-1
What a great microphone for the price. Very low noise and amazing clarity. If you\'re looking for a condenser try this first. You won\'t be disappointed.
Behringer C-1
An absolutely fantastic mic for home or studio recording. Whether just starting out or a little longer in the tooth, this microphone provides all the performance you would expect from any good condenser mic. It has served me very well and provides a beautifully intimate vocal sound with next to no noise at all.
First class.
Behringer C1 Condenser mic
What a fantastic product i bought this for our local youth choir because of the price and the name and this mic accentuates the choir a lot better than than hanging Mics that we have used in the pastas hanging mics are above the head the kids tended to sing towards the ceiling so their voices were not projecting the right way but with these mics they can be placed in front so that the mic actually pics up their voices. and for a cracking inexpensive price
Behringer C1
Why be hasty on 9 out of 10, the mic does everything.
Rich full sound that is perfect for recording house vocals. Don\\\'t get me wrong technique is important but it seems to always deliver for me once i have compressed my files yet still offer nice clarity and those wet lip noises.
I would recommend this to any bedroom producer looking for a powerful house vocalist.

A little Gem
Low noise, good response, FANTASTIC PRICE.
Behringer have done it again with these mics. I bought 2 along with a valve preamp and have had many many happy hours recording in my home studio ever since. There is literally no hum with my 2 mics, the only noise is from a dodgy cable!
The microphone lends itself to all manner of applications, acoustic instrument, amp mic, overhead mic, vocal mic. I really can't stress how good this is for the price Dolphin are selling them!
Any one who is looking to get a start in recording, or needs a condensor mic to experiment or record with. Make this your first microphone, and unless your studio grows to a similar size of abbey road, I see no reason why this C1 should ever be retired.
This little behringer C-1
I've had my C-1 since what seems like the beginning of time now... or atleast since when i started recording and producing and to be quite honest it has served a hard number of hours micing snare drums, cymbals, guitar amps, acoustic guitars, saxophones, vocals [MCs and real singers ;)] and even random experimental 'music concrete' stlye samples!
this mic is the most versatile piece of cheap equiptment i have ever worked with and i pretty much swear by it at a mic for work out of studio, as its cheap, cheerful and breakages aren't the end of the world, as well as in the studio just to get that snare sound that you're striving for :)
Behringer C-1
I use the C-1 in church for sound reinforcement of the orchestra, and for background noise to add atmosphere to the CD/mp3 recordings. We've also used it for solos and for a vocal quartet.
It certainly looks the part (one hand on your ear now everybody.... "Feed the World...." )
but actually the reproduction is a lot more accurate than I would have imagined possible for any mic this price. It hasn't had massive abuse in the year or so we've had it, but build quality appears sound and we've had no problems. In conclusion, I'm back to buy two more.
Behringer C-1 mic.
This is another outstanding product from Behringer. Vocals or accoustic situations. A good quality pre-amp, and the world is your lobster.
Definately Best Buy!
If your looking to set up a home studio mic and your a beginner I recommend this microphone the Behringer C-1 because not only is it cheap the sound quality is amazing. I purchased an expensive mic not long ago which is now faulty so I bought one of these babies for the mean time and to be honest the quality is just as good at me £100 mic. Don't forget you also need phantom power which you can purchase on this site for £15.99 for a Behringer pre-amp. Also using a gold-plated XLR connector boosts the quality. MUST BUY!!!!
Behringer C1 Condenser Microphone
I have to say, that for the price this mic is extremely good. Of course it doesn't have the full depth of sound that more high-end mics have, but this is easily fixed by ensuring you get your EQ right on your mixer.
If you are on a budget (as I am) then this is a great mic. It is excellent for Podcasters as it does have very good sound pick-up and low noise.
Value for money, I give it a 10, however, if you look at it as a whole, it cannot compete with the high-end mics for feel depth of sound, so an 8 it is.
not half bad!
At 15, having only entered into the world of sound production nothing is more important than quality products for as cheap as possible. Having read plenty of product reviews, i decided to invest my hard earned 30 quid in a C1, and have never regretted my decision. Recording with only very basic equipment, the C1 delivers amazing quality as a vocal mic, instrument mic and a overhead drum mic, and my recordings would be noticabely worse without it! In my opinion this mic wouldn't look out of place in professional studios, and I think a mic that produces such good quality recordings as this should be double this price ( I am glad it's not though) . When I have the funds, I will surely invest in another!
superb microphone!!
This is a high quality microphone and is superb for recording audio. It is at a decent price and is not heavy. I'll recommend this to those who are insterested in building a home studio.
Fantastic Microphone
I recently used this microphone and am astounded by it's quality. I have used other budget condenser mics before but not one as cheap as this before. It comes in a rugged and safe carry case, and the mic itself is sturdy and good looking. The stand adapter is a little wiggly, but does the job well. The microphones response and sound is simply amazing, and can be compared to condenser mics in the £200+ range. It captures the full sound of an acoustic guitar with fantastic replication, and is a very good drum overhead mic. The only slight let down is it sounds slightly tinny when used for vocal recording, yet for the money the Behringer C1 is a perfect mic for the budding recorder, or even a professional engineer on a budget!
