Record – super intuitive, streamlined recording software. Reason – the legendary virtual studio rack packed with synths, samplers, effects and all the electronic music production tools you need. Combine the two and they fuse into one incredibly powerful application, while still remaining the fast, lean, rock solid music production environment that lets you stay focused on your music making.
Reason and Record are built around virtual racks of instruments and effects. As you work on your track, you are building the rack as you go. Everything is automatically patched in and routed as you create more instruments, but should you want to get deep, simply flip the rack around and route audio anyway you like, just like in a real world studio, only faster and better.
The powerful sequencer is where you will find yourself doing most of the work. While keeping its famous ease of use, it still comes with all the editing features you need. New in this release, Blocks mode lets you build your songs using a pattern-based approach and then quickly build song arrangements out of the blocks.
