Future?!...

... maybe not, but don't be put off with this, as I believe the S4 to be a wonderful piece of kit; as it blurs the line between DJ & producer. With the added addition of a software update, you get the use of remix decks, which enables you far more creativity as opposed to a simple needle placement. ;-)

S4 What For?

For some reason I had this brainwave that I would go digital and save carting massively heavy bags full of vinyl to gigs.
S4 and a Macbook Pro would save back ache and heart ache.
Wish I hadn\'t bothered, it doesn\'t feel like you are djing, it is gimmicky and feels virtual. And I can\'t be bothered to digitize several thousand slabs of vinyl either.
The one bonus is that it has made me appreciate my Technics 1210s much more than I ever did.
Yeah OK, so what it does, it does it well, it just doesn\'t feel right, at all. Pehaps I am just showing my age
