HALion Sonic is Steinberg's premier VST workstation that breaks new ground in terms of performance, versatility and ease of use. This is the update/upgrade package for users of Steinberg Hypersonic or Halion Player.

1000+ instrument sounds in 13 GB, created by top sound experts at Yamaha and Steinberg, offer a staggering array of first class synths, hybrid and acoustic instruments.

The VST3 audio-engine offers 4 specialized modes: Disk-streaming sample playback, a virtual analog synthesis engine, a dedicated sliced-loop mode and a special drum mode. The Multi Program Rack supports up to 16 individual programs that can be routed to 16 stereo outputs. Stage performance optimization, virtually unlimited polyphony and FlexPhrase for dynamically driving beats, arpeggios and complex tonal phrases, complete this outstanding workstation.

HALion Sonic is the ideal instrument for producers, composers, studio musicians, live musicians and sound designers alike.
