Hello to my fellow guitarists from across the ocean . I'm a 53 year old guitarist from the States who has been playing for 40 years and I'll be 100 % honest here. I've played and owned Fenders, Ibanez, Epiphones, and Gibsons, and this lil' beauty gives them all, if not, blows most of them all away. I got mine just over 3 weeks ago at Guitar Center, which is a national chain here in America, and after inspecting it, the only thing that I needed to do other than a string change . The intonation and string height were, spot on with no issues at all. The stock ESP LH-150 Humbuckers on this guitar are very loud and carry quite a bit of sustain, so I do reccomend that you adjust your pup height accordingly so you don't get a muddy tone. This guitar stays in perfect tune and the jumbo frets make string bending a joy. The neck which has 24 Jumbo frets, is a bit thick alomost akin to a Gibson, but IMO, faster and much more enjoyable to play . The Basswood body does have some weight to it and the guitar as a whole , is neck heavy due to the SG style design, but that gives it more tone and sustain. I also love the transparent Black finish which makes it look more like a 6-7 hundred dollar guitar. All in all, ESP has hit a winner with their LTD line and this baby is the proof of the pudding. I highly reccommend this if you're either a beginner or on a low budget . You can't go wrong with this guitar .
