Firstly, excellent service from Dolphin Music in forwarding the item without delay. As an official add-on from Korg it plugs into the PA800 keyboard and requires no extra interface. The switches can be chosen for a huge variety of functions that Korg have made available, removing the need to move your hands from the keys!. I have found that a footswitch is much more convenient to switch the "Ensemble" function on/off for example as you you can alternate the facility in the middle of a bar. Other obvious uses are drum breaks. Also I have used the switches to switch parts of a Style on/off as I play which can have a dramatic effect to your music. It also enables me to use the other jack sockets for the piano damper and volume expression pedal for one or more of the Right Hand parts.
